Most people focus on tooling and tolerances, but the real story starts long before the mold ever closes.
One of the most critical yet often overlooked factors when we discuss the creation of automotive parts and injection molding in general, is that of 'material conditioning'.
This key process involves preparing raw plastic materials before they enter the mold, as these materials tend to absorb moisture from the air, and if that moisture isn’t properly removed it can vaporize during injection, leading to defects.
Beyond moisture control, material conditioning directly affects the viscosity and flow behavior of the molten plastic. If the material is too cold, too wet, or inconsistently mixed, it may not fill the mold cavity evenly (again, you guessed it, leading to defects).
At ADIS Tachov s.r.o. we’re committed to producing parts that are stronger, more durable, and capable of withstanding the stresses of automotive use better than anyone else, and we treat material conditioning as one more strategic advantage over our competitors.
Our team monitors every step of the process, starting with resin selection and continuing through final drying, using real-time data and automated systems. This attention to detail ensures that every part we produce meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
